Creature Design

The goal of this was to create a creature that could really exist. I based off mine of crabs and put it in a setting with extreme heat and made it much bigger. Tried to find how it would actually survive. It has upper shell that reflects light and keep the creature safe from the heat. Its hunting mechanisn is to stay still in one place cooling the ground. The insects thinking its night time because of the shadow the crab is making, comes out of the ground and that is when the crab starts feeding.
